Always looking for tips and strategies for improving my writing speed and quality, I downloaded Write Better, Faster: How To Triple Your Writing Speed and Write More Every Day (Growth Hacking For Storytellers 1)* to my Kindle. Write Better, Faster was written by Monica Leonelle. This is not the first book written by Leonelle that I reported on. She also wrote Dictate Your Book: How to Write Your Book Faster, Better, and Smarter. After reading the Kindle version of WRITE, PUBLISH, PROMOTE: How to write a best seller, self-publish, and then keep selling it …*, I thought it was so useful, I just ordered a print copy to have as a reference as I write my book. Debrah Martin packed this informative book full of tips and resources to help budding writers get books published and sold. Book Review: On Your Mark – From First Word to First Draft in Six Weeks

At the 2015 ATD-ICE conference, I sat in on a presentation given by Cathy Fyock. She spoke about the importance of writing for your career. More importantly, she spoke about getting a book written in the shortest amount of time possible. As she noted in her presentation, she wanted to model that behavior and wrote her book, On Your Mark: From First Word to First Draft in Six Weeks*. Yes, she did it in six weeks.
