According to David Kolb, learners move through a four-stage cycle as they develop new skills and learn concepts. By learning about this cycle and associated learning styles, you can better assist students to master your content.

By understanding the learning styles, you can develop content and learning activities that are in line with how your students best learn. Incorporating these different learning styles align with Universal Design for Learning by providing more supports and choice in the classroom.
