One of my primary roles has been to help faculty implement a new strategy or technology into their curriculum. The quicker I can do this, the more they appreciate it. Additionally, I feel it is important to continuously scan the horizon for new technologies and instructional methods. Finally, I also strive to deepen my knowledge of a topic. Curation has been a powerful tool to handle all these needs.

Regularly, I scan the horizon for new ideas or I do a deep dive into a topic so that I can provide better support to my students or faculty. Being able to provide quicker support is due in large part because I have a vetted collection of resources at my fingertips. I use these resources to build instruction, support instruction, and support faculty. They also let me get a jump on anything that I need to develop.
In this episode, I am going to share my strategy for scanning the horizon and curating resources that will serve me now and in the future.
