Research has demonstrated that if you can connect learning to passion, you will achieve exceptional results. Quite often, students are not thrilled about the assignments we provide.
What if you connected your assignments to their passions? In this episode, I am going to show you how a group of educators is using World of Warcraft to increase engagement in their classroom as well as to attain the academic results they wanted.
This group of educators created an after-school program called WoW in School. They developed a curriculum with World of Warcraft as a backdrop. As a result, students were more engaged in completing their assignments.
Join me as I explore what they did and how they used World of Warcraft for language arts, social sciences, science, math, and research.
