As instructional technologists and educators, we wear many different hats. We are expected to develop content in a variety of formats, manage tight deadlines, and meet with people around the campus and the world. Time is a fleeting commodity. We need tools to help us to stay on track and on time. Here is my go-to collection of tools that I use daily.

I enjoy all of your podcasts but this one was especially enjoyable. I’m always thrilled to learn something new and, as an instructional designer and technologist, learning technology is at the top of my list! I’ve used many of the tools you mentioned, so I would need to reflect further to offer something new to your list. I began 17 years ago as a graphic designer and I earned an MS in Instructional Design Technology a couple of years ago. I’ve used professional level applications for many years and I’m thrilled to discover more open access tools. I am also interested in gamification and eLearning. I just purchased your “Read to Succeed” and totally agree with your passion around the significance of reading. When I was a child, discovering our small Indiana town Carnegie library opened the door to a world of possibilities!
Keep up the good work!
Thanks for taking the time to comment on my podcast. I really appreciate it. Did you happen to learn about a specific tool that you are planning to put into practice? Also, thanks for purchasing my book. I hope you find it enjoyable and useful. I would love to hear what you think of it.
Where did you complete your degree in Instructional Design Technology?
