(Last Updated On: )

Last week in episode 14, we looked at augmented reality. This week, we are going to venture into new worlds—virtual worlds—with virtual reality (VR). With VR, it is possible to explore places that were once impossible to reach or simply impossible because they didn’t exist. The limit of virtual reality is simply our imagination.

With virtual reality, you can explore buildings in far off lands. You can travel deep into the ocean or far into space. It is also possible to travel back in time. Would you like to touch a dragon? You can do it with virtual reality.

Virtual reality is already being used to train employees to use dangerous equipment, soldiers to fight in unfamiliar areas, and doctors to improve their medical skills. We are at the beginning of a push to use VR. It is important to understand where we are going.
