Google+ has already hit 10 million users in the first two weeks, are you one of them?
If you are like me, you jumped at the chance. If you are like me, you are still trying to get a handle on how this new social networking tool will help you, and how you will use it.
A couple of extension educators asked me for more information after I sent out an invitation. Since I did not have ready answers, I did some research and in the end, I developed a learning guide to help others figure out Google+. Along the way, I learned a lot and extended my Google+ account.
This learning guide provides links to resources that in turn explain what Google+ is, how to use many of the features, ways to extend Google Chrome to extend Google+, and tips and shortcuts for use.
If you have any ideas for using Google+ in an education setting, I am certainly interested. I personally see a number of opportunities for using Google+ in an educative setting, primarily to the control an educator has on selecting who sees what content.
