Formal education will only take us so far. We need to create a system to help us learn across our lifetime. A personal learning network (PLN) and environment do exactly that. With a PLN, you are setting up systems to help you collect information, make sense of it, and share it with others. Naturally, a key component of this system is collaborating with others. A good PLN will help you achieve this and more.

In this episode, I am going to discuss personal learning networks and environments. You will discover not only the benefits but we will also touch on ideas for collecting content as well as sharing discoveries. This will be the first of a multipart series where I go deeper into helping you create a PLN that will fuel your learning for your lifetime.
