Like most writers, I love to read.
If you have written a book which you would like reviewed, please send it to me using the form below. If I read your book I will post reviews on my blog, Goodreads, and Amazon*. I will also share the review on Twitter, Pinterest, and Facebook.
This is a free service.
Like most book bloggers my list of book review submissions is very long. I try to give authors a round about idea of when their book will be up for review. This is not a set in stone schedule.
Please be patient. I will get to your book if I have agreed to read it. Please do not bombard me with emails questioning your place in the queue. Doing so can result in your book being removed from my list.
Genres of Interest
- Non-Fiction focusing on business, productivity, social media, etc. but others may catch my interest.
- History
- Historical fiction
- Biographies
- Fiction – I don’t read a lot of fiction so it really has to grab my interest.
Book Format
I prefer a printed copy of your book. However, I will also accept EPUB, MOBI, and PDF copies of books (not a huge fan of PDF, if it is your only resource I will work with it).
Reviews
I write honest, unbiased reviews regardless of the source of the book. Please realize sending a gratis review copy is not a guarantee of a positive review. I stand by my reviews and I will refuse requests for review revisions, i.e. changing a negative review into a positive one. PREMIUM REQUESTS WILL BE TREATED EQUALLY HONESTLY – I DO NOT GIVE GOOD REVIEWS IN EXCHANGE FOR MONEY.
I will always contact the author for permission before posting a review of 2-STARS or less.

Premium Reviews
Due to a backlog, a free review can never be guaranteed!
So, I offer a PREMIUM REVIEW SERVICE – for $20 I will guarantee your book is reviewed by myself within a couple of weeks, jumping ahead of free listings on My Bookshelf. Additionally, your Premium review payment will ensure books you send me in the future are prioritized over non-Premium submissions!
*WHILST I WILL POST YOUR REVIEW ON AMAZON, I CANNOT GUARANTEE IT AS PART OF THE SERVICE, AS REVIEWS ARE FREQUENTLY AND INDISCRIMINATELY REMOVED BY THEIR INSANE REVIEW POLICY BOTS.
SUBMISSIONS POLICY
- Premium reviews will always be read before free submissions, and will always be read on a first-come-first-served basis.
- Sending me your book is no guarantee that I will review it. In the absence of Premium reviews or Premium customer titles on My Bookshelf, I will read in no particular order and will pick whichever submission takes my fancy next.
- Your submission will not be considered a Premium review request until I have received confirmation of your payment to MJV Services by Paypal.
- I reserve the right to refuse Premium review requests for any reason – in these cases, your payment will be immediately refunded in full.
- IN NO OTHER CASES (INCLUDING A BAD REVIEW) ARE PAYMENTS REFUNDED – this applies even if you choose not to allow the review to be posted. I do not offer favorable reviews in exchange for Premium payment!
- Further submissions by Premium customers only take priority over non-Premium customers and are in no way guaranteed, in respect of when or even if they will be reviewed – only individually paid Premium reviews are guaranteed.
- MY REVIEWS ARE NOT NEGOTIABLE, AND I DON’T REALLY WANT TO ARGUE ABOUT YOUR BOOK – IF YOU CAN’T TAKE AN UNFAVOURABLE REVIEW, PLEASE DON’T REQUEST ONE.
